【Macroscopic Features】Slender cylindrical in shape, slightly curved; 1–1.4 cm in length, approximately 0.2 cm in diameter. Young leaves green, one longer and one shorter, rolled into an arrowhead shape with the apex recurved downward; a tiny plumule visible between the two leaves. Radicle cylindrical, about 3 mm long, yellowish-white. Texture brittle, easily broken; cross-section shows several small pores scattered throughout. Faint odor and bitter taste.
